I live in Delaware and our state insect is the ladybug. There is a Lady Bug Store in Milford, DE, and an annual Lady Bug festival. Enjoyed your sweet poem about this beautiful bug.
Cute, beautiful, adorable and carnivorous! My dad used to buy them to kill pests in his garden. They are so good at it that in a few days the pests are all gone...and so are the ladybugs!
