Reflect on life

I reflect upon life

Clearly visualising the signs

Those that I chose

To ignore at the time

Allowed the pain to hit deep

My laughter to be loud

For all that I have

I feel grateful and proud

Having experienced growth

I hold no regret

Life without true mistakes

Has not been lived yet

Taking with me the lessons

learnt on the way

I treasure those moments

That bring light to my day

Some of the lessons in life, can be so difficult to deal with. We wonder at times whether or not, we can cope with tomorrow. Anger, sadness and feeling like we are lost at times, is quite normal.

You think it will never end and nothing but bad things, will continue to happen to you. Understanding first of all, that there is not avoiding the bad moments - they always weigh you down, we you are least expecting it. These bad moments come in cycles, as do the good times we have.

One day you will wake up, after havng possibly the worst week of your life. The sun will be shining, the birds will be chirping and it will be a better day!

Make the most of special times with friends. Enjoy some time with your children. When the good moments arrive, make the most of them. Keep smiles, laughs and giggles to memory. The fresh breeze, on a warm day. The hug a loved one gives you, before they leave for work. The feeling of a nice hot shower, on tired muscles - the best!

All the things we take for granted in life, is what we should pay attention to the most. It helps us when we are at our lowest, when anger, pressure and heartache brings us down. That is when we should reach for, the things that make us happy.

Love and happiness is the key!

Finally...My Sunday mornings can return to normal...lol Beautiful poem, as usual. Funny thing is I have sort of been on a "What have you done with your life" kick lately and again you seem to get me where it counts. Super glad you are feeling better and back to your old tricks, you were missed. Cheers...W

Yesterday have a lot that we could learn from.I just hold on to the good...and leave the trash behind.

Hi Apostle Jack :) Yes leave it behind, the negative only brings us down. It breeds sadness and discontentment, making it hard to move forward in life.

Thankyou for your comments
